Fleetguard company
Since the firm was founded in 1958 in the American state of Indiana (two employees made filters for Cummins engines, the firm's only customer at the time), Fleetguard has grown into one of the world leaders in the design and production of air intake systems for heavy equipment, and of exhaust filtration and treatment systems.
Fleetguard now has more than 6,000 employees and a broad customer base. Today's Fleetguard is 23 production sites in 9 countries, 15 distribution centers, 3 joint ventures and more than 23 thousand distributors on every continent. Its regular customers include such giants of European and world industry as Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, DAF, Ford, Hitachi and many others.
Fleetguard is not only a brand of its own that long ago stopped needing recommendations, but also the products and services of such well-known world brands as Nelson, Kuss Filtration, Separation Technologies, Emission Solution and Universal Silencer. Structurally, Fleetguard is one of the strategic business lines of Cummins Diesel, a recognized "global" leader in diesel engine production.
In turn, Fleetguard, Inc. unites three branches that complement each other effectively in the field of filtration systems:
- Kuss Corporation is one of the leading manufacturers of in-tank fuel filters for cars;
- Universal Silencer makes large filtration systems for industrial use;
- Separation Technologies specializes in industrial hydraulic filtration.
